Description
Looking for a fun and educational way to kick off your toddler’s week? Head to the Autry Museum of the American West for Toddler Tuesdays – Musical Mornings, a twice-a-month music workshop that’s specially designed for little learners to explore the joy of music. Hosted in the museum’s Family Play Space, this interactive program is led by children’s music educator Tim Hancock and offers two engaging sessions tailored to different age groups.
The first session (10:30 a.m.) is perfect for the tiniest musicians—ages 0 to 2.5—where singing, movement, and playful action songs help them discover rhythm and pitch. The second session (11:15 a.m.), for kids ages 2.5 to 5, introduces basic music theory using fun instruments like Boomwhackers and color-coded charts. It's a sensory-rich experience that makes music approachable, educational, and most importantly—fun!Whether your little one is bopping along to the beat or learning to play a simple song, they’ll leave with a big smile and maybe a new favorite tune.
