Symphonies for Youth: Painting with Music at the Walt Disney Concert Hall invites children and families to explore how composers like French Impressionists and modern musicians use music to capture the world around us—whether it’s the shimmer of light, the hum of city streets, or the peaceful rhythm of the ocean.
This 45-minute interactive concert by the Los Angeles Philharmonic is designed especially for kids ages 5–11, making classical music fun, engaging, and totally unforgettable. Even better? Families are encouraged to arrive early and dive into hands-on arts workshops before the concert begins—so the creativity starts before the first note is even played.
