Got a little one full of questions about the planet? Or maybe you're looking for a fun way to spark your family's climate curiosity? Sprouting Bright Futures: A Climate Role Model Festival is just the place to be! This vibrant, hands-on festival brings together LA's most inspiring climate leaders and orgs for a day packed with interactive activities, engaging workshops, and feel-good fun.
From climate-themed games and disaster preparedness activities to storytelling and hands-on learning stations, kids will be immersed in all the ways people are taking action to protect our planet — right here in our own communities. They'll even get a special “Field Guide” to collect stamps as they explore each station — and yes, there’s a prize for completing it!And just when you think it can’t get any better, at 3 p.m., the fun shifts to the big screen with the debut of "Suzie Hicks the Climate Chick and Sprout", a delightful new kids' show exploring climate emotions and solutions. Stick around for a Q&A with the creative minds behind the show, and a puppet-powered sing-a-long that’ll have everyone dancing in their seats. Oh, and did we mention snacks? Yup, those are covered too.
