Sensory with Santa at BFYIC

Riverside's Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center is hosting Sensory with Santa, a holiday experience planned with accessibility, inclusion and comfort front and center. Children and families of all abilities are invited to visit Santa in a setting designed to feel welcoming rather than overwhelming.

Along with the Santa visit, kids can make hands-on holiday crafts and explore interactive stations full of different textures, colors and scents. There is no pressure to follow a set schedule, so each child can take part at a comfortable pace and celebrate in whatever way works best for them.

Sensory supports, comfort items and communication devices are always welcome, and caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children. The event is free, making it a thoughtful option for families who find typical crowded Santa lines difficult.
