Scout Day

The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is opening its doors to Scouts and their families for Scout Day, a full day of badge-focused exploration. Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts can bring along family and friends and work through self-guided activity sheets designed to meet badge requirements while they discover the Aquarium's animals.

The Aquarium offers printable guides for Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Cub Scouts, plus Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts, with parent guides for several Girl Scout levels. Download and print them before your visit, then let the kids lead the way from gallery to gallery. Nobody has to stay the whole day, so families can set their own pace.

Scouts who wear their uniform get 20 percent off regularly priced items at the Pacific Collections gift store, and fun patches will be sold there at half price while supplies last. Families can also catch the Bird Shorts experience, a live animal presentation followed by a coral reef film in the Honda Pacific Visions Theater, at 10:30 AM or 2:00 PM.

All ages are welcome.

Scout Day is designed for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts with their families and friends. All children must be accompanied by an adult, such as a parent or Scout leader.

🎟️ Tickets/Price

Tickets must be purchased in advance online, and reservations are required.

Child: $27.95

Adult: $37.95

Members: Free with reservation (call 562-437-3474 to reserve).

Every guest, including adults, needs a ticket. You will select an entry time when you buy tickets.

🚙 Parking

The Aquarium parking structure is on the water side of Shoreline Drive between Chestnut Place and Aquarium Way.

Parking is $8 for the day with Aquarium validation, payable by credit card at the exit or at kiosks near the elevators.
