Santa Monica 4th of July Parade

Get ready to unleash your inner patriot because the Annual Santa Monica 4th of July Parade is back! It's time to lace up those sneakers, put on your superhero capes, and gather along the streets on July 4th, starting at 9:30 am sharp. Picture this: colorful floats, toe-tapping music, and an atmosphere buzzing with excitement. It's a spectacle that will have you dancing, cheering, and feeling the true spirit of Independence Day. So put on your dancing shoes, practice your best parade wave, and get ready for a parade that will make you feel like the superhero you truly are. 

This year the parade has a NEW route direction! The parade kicks off promptly at 9:30 am at Barnard Way & Marine, turning onto Main Street headed North. Join in to watch anywhere along the Main Street route and make your way up to the Civic Center, to Pico Blvd. The official grandstand announcement location will be in front of the Ocean Park Library. Please note that the entire parade route and some streets leading to it will be closed to vehicle traffic ALL morning long, from 6AM - 12PM.
