Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Celebration

Sixteen-time Grammy award-winning musician, songwriter and producer David Foster and acclaimed singer, television and Broadway star Katharine McPhee will perform live with new holiday songs, along with favorite classics. This year’s “Beverly Hills Express” theme along Rodeo Drive will encompass a spectacular stationary train display from Wilshire Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard. The beautiful, bright red glittering train engine and caboose, along with luxury vintage passenger cars in bright red and blue with matching holiday packages and ornaments, will be stacked high to sparkle across the famous drive.

Rodeo Drive will glisten with wonder with three exciting performance zones, delectable food and fanciful photo opportunities engaging guests throughout the evening. The center median palm trees of Rodeo Drive will be embellished with dripping lights while the tree trunks will be wrapped with festive warm, white lights to illuminate the track for the “Beverly Hills Express.”

In a memorable moment, Mayor Bosse and City Councilmembers will countdown the crowd and illuminate Rodeo Drive’s center median bringing to life the “Beverly Hills Express” in its full adornment. Finally, the crescendo of the evening begins with the arrival of Santa Claus and of course, no lighting celebration would be complete without a spectacular fireworks finale dazzling in the night sky.

The holiday festivities will continue across the City through the New Year with the following installations available for viewing nightly: The “Glittering Gardens” at Beverly Cañon Gardens; the “Lights on the Lily Pond” at the Beverly Hills Lily Pond on Santa Monica Boulevard; and the “Unwrap the Magic at Beverly Hills City Hall” projection show viewable nightly on the iconic Beverly Hills City Hall Tower. There will also be a family-friendly holiday celebration for children of all ages on December 3rd and 4th at Greystone Mansion and Gardens.
