Play for All Abilities

Join the Play for All Abilities event at the Southern California Children's Museum, a special play session designed for children with developmental differences and their families. Held on the last Thursday of every month, this inclusive experience offers a quieter, less crowded environment where kids can explore, play, and make new friends in a stress-free setting.

During these hours, SCCM makes thoughtful adjustments, including dimmed lighting, no background music, and a microphone-free atmosphere. Families can also access sensory backpacks equipped with noise-canceling headphones, sensory toys, visual guides, and nonverbal communication cards to enhance the experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families in a welcoming, supportive space!
