Pasadena Symphony-Mozart “Jupiter” Symphony

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the magnificent Ambassador Auditorium, the Pasadena Symphony will deliver a spellbinding performance under the baton of Brett Mitchell. Audiences will be treated to Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, "Jupiter," a piece hailed as one of the greatest symphonies ever written. This event also features Florence Price’s stirring Concerto for Piano in One Movement, showcasing the prodigious talent of pianist Inon Barnatan. Adding to the evening’s allure is Jessie Montgomery’s vibrant composition, Starburst, a piece that has earned her the title of 2024 GRAMMY-winner and 2023 Composer of the Year by Musical America. With a program "exploding with life," this concert promises an emotional and exhilarating experience for all music lovers.
