Lunar New Year with Lion Dance & Puppet-Making Workshop

Sierra Madre Playhouse is keeping the Lunar New Year celebrations going with a family-friendly event packed with culture, creativity, and fun! Watch an electrifying Lion Dance performance by the East Wind Foundation, a Chinatown-based nonprofit that empowers youth through martial and performance arts. Then, let your imagination run wild at a dragon puppet-making workshop led by the legendary Bob Baker Marionette Theater. Kids of all ages can craft their own puppets and even learn a few tricks from expert puppeteers. It's the perfect way to celebrate tradition, artistry, and community all in one magical morning!
