LA Zoo Lights 2026

Every winter, the Los Angeles Zoo transforms into a glowing wonderland for LA Zoo Lights, filling the grounds with larger-than-life lantern sculptures, tunnels of light, and animal-themed displays that make for one of the most photogenic holiday outings in the city.

Little ones can wander the illuminated pathways past glowing peacocks, jellyfish, and holiday scenes, while older kids will love spotting how many different light installations they can count before bedtime.

The Zoo also builds in a few special nights this season — including a Sensory-Inclusive Night and a Pride Night — so there's a way for every family to enjoy the lights comfortably.

📅 Dates & Times

November 20, 2026 through January 10, 2027, nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. Special nights include a Sensory-Inclusive Night on December 8 and a Pride Night on December 17.
