This powerful pageant recounts the story of Juan Diego, a humble peasant blessed by the Virgin Mary’s appearances in 1531. With Esperanza América as the Virgin Mary and Sal Lopez as Juan Diego, this production features a cast of over 100 actors, singers, and indigenous Aztec dancers, blending tradition with live performance. It’s a mesmerizing cultural celebration that unites generations and brings history vividly to life.
