L.A. Works' Earth Week 2025

This Earth Week, L.A. Works is calling all eco-heroes to roll up their sleeves and make a real difference for the planet. From April 19 to 26, the city comes alive with family-friendly volunteer opportunities that are all about giving back to the Earth—and having fun while doing it. Whether you’re planting native trees in Tujunga, reviving a community garden in El Monte, or joining the lively Earth Day celebration at Fountain Community Gardens, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

There’s even more to explore throughout the week, with activities like composting, building planter boxes, and supporting local green spaces. Bring your squad, make it a feel-good day out, and celebrate Earth Week by doing something truly impactful. Plus, take the Climate Action Pledge and show your commitment to a more sustainable future—your way, on your time. It’s all part of this powerful partnership between L.A. Works and California Volunteers, Office of the Governor. Let’s make Earth Week 2025 one for the (green) books!
