Description
Let your creativity soar at the Atwater Branch Library’s Koinobori Craft event! In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, kids and families are invited to learn about the beautiful tradition of koinobori—colorful carp-shaped windsocks flown in Japan for Children’s Day. This free, fun-filled workshop gives participants a chance to design their very own paper koinobori, bringing a splash of color and culture to the afternoon. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore Japanese customs in a playful and meaningful way, all while getting crafty with the community.
