In honor of Jewish American Heritage Month, the Arroyo Seco Regional Branch Library invites families to a heart warming and educational afternoon centered around the book Joyful Song: A Naming Story by Lesléa Newman. This interactive event is perfect for kids and caregivers who love stories that celebrate identity, culture, and tradition.
Participants will explore Jewish naming customs, discover the meanings behind names, and get inspired to share the special stories behind their own. After story time, kids can get creative with a hands-on art activity that connects to the theme—making this a meaningful and engaging experience from start to finish.
