Holiday Roundup

The Leonis Adobe Museum, a historic 1800s ranch in the heart of Calabasas, dresses up for the season with its annual Holiday Roundup. The grounds fill with holiday decorations, and families can spend the afternoon making crafts, joining in seasonal activities and enjoying live music in a setting that feels a world away from the busy city.

The biggest buzz is the chance of a special appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus, which is sure to thrill younger guests. The museum's events also feature hands-on activities for kids, and the property itself is a fun place to explore, with its restored adobe home, ranch grounds and creekside park.

Grown-ups can check off a few names on the gift list too, thanks to the museum's curated gift shop stocked with one-of-a-kind finds. It is a sweet, small-scale holiday outing that pairs history with hometown cheer, and members get in free.
