Description
The City of Lawndale is launching a brand-new community tradition with its first-ever Hispanic Heritage Festival, a free afternoon celebration at Jane Addams Park. The festival salutes the 21 countries where Spanish is an official language, bringing neighbors together to enjoy the music, flavors, artistry and traditions of Hispanic cultures.
Families can look forward to youth dance and musical performances, food and craft vendors, games and activities for kids, and a free concert to cap off the day. It is a wonderful chance for children to experience traditional dances and music up close while parents browse handmade crafts and sample delicious dishes.
Because this is the festival's debut year, your family can be part of the very first celebration. Free parking and a shuttle from the Lawndale Community Center make getting there easy, so pack the sunscreen, bring an appetite and plan to stay for the music. ¡Todos están bienvenidos!
