Hanukkah Festival at the Skirball

Let the festivities begin! The Hanukkah Festival at the Skirball Cultural Center is the perfect way for families to kick off the holiday season with warmth, joy, and tradition. Designed for all ages, this vibrant celebration lights up the first night of Hanukkah with an exciting lineup of music, storytelling, hands-on art activities, and more.

Throughout the day, little ones can dive into the creative spirit at the art-making stations and explore the magical Light Lab, while grown-ups can enjoy a festive book talk and—yes—latke tasting! The Dreidel Lounge invites everyone to take a spin, and live performances will keep toes tapping from noon to sundown.

The day wraps with a meaningful community candle lighting ceremony beside the glowing lily pond—a picture-perfect moment you’ll remember for years to come. Whether you're celebrating Hanukkah for the first time or it’s a treasured family tradition, this festival is all about joy, culture, and connection.
