Goeske Holiday Festival

The Goeske Holiday Festival brings a big dose of holiday cheer to Riverside with a free, one-day outdoor market hosted by the Janet Goeske Foundation. More than 70 local artisans and vendors set up shop in the Janet Goeske Center parking lot, offering handmade gifts, holiday décor, specialty foods and one-of-a-kind finds. It's a relaxed, community-focused way for families to kick off the season while supporting local makers.

Live entertainment keeps the festive mood going throughout the day, and food vendors make it easy to linger over lunch. Kids can help pick out presents for grandparents, teachers and friends, turning holiday shopping into a fun family outing instead of a chore. With admission free, families can browse at their own pace without worrying about the cost of getting in the door.

The Janet Goeske Center serves Riverside's older adults year-round, and this festival opens its doors to the whole community, making it a nice multigenerational event. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, so your family can get a jump on gift shopping early. Bring a reusable bag and a little extra cash for treats and handmade goodies.
