LA County Parks is leveling the playing field with Girls Sports Day, a free, action-packed event that celebrates girls in sports and inspires the next generation of athletes! Designed for girls ages 9 to 18, this annual celebration features a variety of free sports clinics including basketball, soccer, softball, and track & field—all led by expert coaches and mentors. But it's not just about sports: the day also includes wellness activities, interactive games, inspiring guest speakers, and a complimentary lunch to keep the energy high.
The first 500 girls who pre-register and attend will score a free pair of sneakers—just one more reason to grab your spot early! With a focus on health, confidence, and community, this event is all about breaking down barriers and building up the next generation of fierce, fearless female athletes. Free transportation is available from select LA County park sites, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun.
