Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS®

When the sun goes down at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, the theme park transforms into Fright Fest, its annual Halloween scream-a-thon. Starting at 6:30 PM on select nights, fog rolls in, monsters take over the walkways and the park's famous roller coasters get an extra dose of adrenaline as riders blast through the dark.

The headline attractions are the haunted mazes, built with detailed movie-style sets and packed with jump scares. New for 2026 are Final Destination: Death's Playground and the werewolf-themed Wolves' Blood, joining mazes based on The Conjuring Universe and Trick 'r Treat, plus park originals like Carnage, Vault: 666 Unlocked and Willoughby's: Resurrected. Outdoor scare zones mean there is no safe spot to hide, and a lineup of creepy live shows fills in the gaps between screams.

This one is truly for thrill-seekers. Six Flags officially says Fright Fest is not recommended for children under 13, so it is best suited to teens and adults who love a good fright. Families with younger kids can visit earlier in the day on the same dates for Tricks and Treats, the park's separate no-scare daytime Halloween celebration from noon to 5 PM.

Every guest needs a park ticket or valid pass, and the haunted mazes require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass. Re-entry is not allowed after 9 PM, so plan your night accordingly and wear comfortable shoes for a long evening of rides and frights.
