Free Community Block Party

The Free Community Block Party, hosted by the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and Councilwoman Heather Hutt, is bringing the fun to Western Ave & Washington Blvd with a full day of music, movement, and mouth watering eats. It’s a celebration for the whole neighbourhood, and everyone’s invited!

Expect a jam-packed day of free rides, interactive games, arts and crafts, and high-energy dance classes for all ages and skill levels. Fuel up with some of LA’s hottest food trucks, grab a carnival treat, and enjoy the buzz of this vibrant community event. And don’t miss the newest addition this year—a breaking competition presented by Silver Back BBoy Events, where dancers will throw down for a shot at a cash prize. Whether you're joining the action or just vibing with the crowd, this block party is the perfect way to kick off summer in true LA style.
