Floatfest: A Rose Parade Showcase
Stroll right up to the Rose Parade floats after the big day and see every petal and seed up close.

General Info
Jan 01, 2027, 1:30 PM – Jan 03, 2027, 4:00 PM
Floatfest at Pasadena High School, 2925 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107, USA
Description
After the Rose Parade wraps, the floats park along Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevards in Pasadena for Floatfest: A Rose Parade Showcase. Families can walk the line of parked floats and get within a few feet of the flower-covered masterpieces they just watched on parade day, an up-close look that TV simply cannot match.
Kids can study the incredible details, from seeds and bark to thousands of fresh blooms, and pick their own favorite float. Live entertainment, gourmet food trucks and family-friendly activities round out the experience, and nearly 70,000 visitors come out each year to enjoy it.
Street parking near the showcase is very limited, so the Tournament of Roses runs free Park-N-Ride shuttles, and shuttle riders get a priority entry line. Mornings on January 2 are reserved for seniors and guests with mobility disabilities, which makes later hours the best bet for families.
A few planning notes: only clear bags are allowed, pets are not permitted (service animals are welcome), and bikes, skateboards and wagons must stay home. Strollers can be tricky to navigate in the crowds, so a carrier may be easier for little ones.
