FIELD OF HONOR

This May, the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano will once again be transformed into a Field of Honor®, a powerful and moving display of more than 500 seven-foot-tall American flags. This stunning tribute honors our military, veterans, first responders—including K-9 units and equestrian heroes—with each flag standing as a symbol of courage, service, and sacrifice.

Presented in partnership with Homefront America, this community-driven event invites guests to walk among the flags, reflect, and pay respect to the heroes who protect and serve. The experience begins with a meaningful Opening Day Bell Ringing Ceremony on Tuesday, May 20 at 12:00 p.m., featuring a presentation of the colors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a live performance of the National Anthem, and the resonant ringing of the historic mission bells.Visitors are also invited to sponsor a flag in honor of a loved one, with proceeds supporting Homefront America's charitable programs for military families. Whether you're there to remember, to honor, or to simply take in the solemn beauty of the display, Field of Honor® is a deeply moving way to connect with the spirit of service and patriotism.
