Fall Into Autumn Community Festival

Westside Neighborhood School in Los Angeles invites the community to its third annual Fall Into Autumn Community Festival, a free drop-in morning designed just for the littlest kids. The event takes place at the school's Early Childhood Center and welcomes children ages 3 and under along with the grownups who love them. It is a relaxed, low-pressure way for families with babies and toddlers to enjoy a seasonal outing on the Westside.

Little ones can get hands-on with seasonal crafts, run around with outdoor games and exploration, and meet friendly animals at a petting zoo. Face painting and live music round out the morning, so there is something to delight every tiny festivalgoer. Because families can drop in any time during the 90-minute window, it is easy to plan around nap schedules and snack breaks.

The festival doubles as an open house for the school's early childhood program, so parents curious about preschool options can get a feel for the campus while the kids play. Your family does not need to be applying to the school to attend, since the event is open to the public. The school asks families to RSVP ahead of time, which helps organizers plan for the crowd.
