Fall Festival

Paséa Hotel & Spa turns its Ocean Lawn into a seaside autumn party for its annual Fall Festival in Huntington Beach. Instead of a dusty farm field, families get a grassy oceanfront setting right off Pacific Coast Highway, complete with pumpkins, music and plenty of spots for fall photos with the Pacific in the background.

Kids can choose a pumpkin and decorate it however they like, then take on the grown-ups in lawn games such as pumpkin bowling. A live DJ keeps the energy up, and seasonal food and drinks add to the festive feel. Little ones are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes, since a costume winner will take home a special prize from Paséa.

Dogs are invited too. The Pet Costume Parade gives four-legged family members a chance to strut their stuff in their best seasonal outfits, which makes this a rare fall event where the whole household, pets included, can join in. Admission is complimentary, but the hotel asks guests to grab free tickets ahead of time, so reserve early and plan to stay for a late-afternoon glow by the beach.
