Exceptional Day of Play

Exceptional Day of Play is all about celebrating every child’s right to play in a joyful, inclusive, and supportive space! Held at beautiful Wardlow Park, this free community event is specially designed for kids of all abilities, with activities that are thoughtfully tailored to be universally accessible. From sensory bins and arts and crafts to water play and interactive games, every experience is built to engage, inspire, and include.

It’s more than just play—it’s about creating a welcoming space where families can connect, find resources, and celebrate diversity and inclusion. With free snacks, giveaways, and smiles around every corner (thanks to sponsorship from The Port of Long Beach), it’s the kind of day your whole family will remember. While entry is free, a $5 donation per child is appreciated to keep the magic going!
