Equestfest

Equestfest gives families a front-row look at the horses and riders who will march in the 2027 Rose Parade. Hosted by the Tournament of Roses at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, this lively holiday-week event showcases a wide range of breeds alongside drill teams, dancers, trick riders and ropers.

Gates open in the morning with a vendor court, static displays, music and food, and kids can peek into the warm-up rings as riders prepare their horses. The main equestrian show runs from noon to 2:00 PM, with fast-paced drills, colorful costumes and plenty of jaw-dropping tricks.

Families can make it a full outing by adding the Rose Pit BBQ Lunch, which comes with a limited-edition 2027 Equestrian Pin and a Learn to Rope Like a Cowboy experience. Grown-ups choose brisket or barbecue chicken with classic sides, while the kids' lunch features a hot dog and chips.

The event happens rain or shine, and children 5 and under get free general admission, making this a terrific holiday-break pick for young horse fans.

This is a paid event.

General admission: $26.50 per person. Free for children 5 and under.

VIP Reserved Seat Package: $51.50 per person, including a preferred reserved seat and a souvenir seat cushion. A ticket is required for all ages in VIP seating.

Tickets are sold online only. No cash or credit card sales on site.

Optional Rose Pit BBQ Lunch (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, admission required): adult lunch $41.50 with brisket or BBQ chicken, sides and a drink (vegetarian option available); kids' lunch $26.50 with a hot dog, chips and a drink. Both include a 2027 Equestrian Pin and a Learn to Rope Like a Cowboy experience.

🚙 Parking

Parking is $20 per car, paid at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.

A clear-bag policy is in effect.
