Dylanfest is back and bigger than ever for its 35th year, and if you're a fan of Bob Dylan—or just love live music festivals with killer energy—this is your kind of Sunday! Held outdoors at the Torino Plaza of the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, this all-day tribute to the legendary songwriter brings together over 60 musicians for a nonstop Dylan marathon. And yes, no songs are repeated!
Festival hosts and award-winning duo Andy Hill and Renee Safier, along with their band Hard Rain, are leading the charge, joined by a stellar lineup of talent including Marty Rifkin (who’s toured with Springsteen), folk icon Joel Rafael, rockabilly great James Intveld, and pianist Bob Malone from John Fogerty’s band. Expect reinterpretations of Dylan’s greatest hits, deep cuts, and a few delightful surprises—all performed live with heart and soul.Originally just a humble backyard jam, Dylanfest has grown into a musical pilgrimage for SoCal Dylan fans. Feel free to dress up in tribute—channel your inner “Mr. Tambourine Man” or “Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands.” With food and drinks available for purchase, a free souvenir program, and plenty of free parking, it’s the perfect way to spend a laid-back afternoon soaking up iconic tunes with a fantastic crowd.
