Downtown Farmers Market

The Wednesday Downtown Farmers Market is a Santa Monica institution. Since 1981, more than 60 California farms have filled Arizona Avenue every week, and the market is famously popular with local chefs who come to stock their kitchens.

For families, it is a colorful midweek outing and a great place to let kids pick out new fruits and vegetables to try. Stroll a block over to the Third Street Promenade afterward for a snack and some window shopping.

The market runs year-round, rain or shine, and accepts CalFresh EBT.
