Featuring Villa-Lobos’ groundbreaking piece and Gabriela Ortiz’s powerful Yanga, this performance will captivate you with its fusion of African instruments, colorful rhythms, and powerful orchestration. Dive deep into the mystical world of Revueltas’ La noche de los Mayas as it draws on Mexico’s ancient culture, complete with thunderous percussion and a mesmerizing flute interlude.
