Get ready to groove, glide, and heal—on wheels! Dancing in the Light: Healing with the Arts – Special Skating Edition is bringing the feel-good vibes to the roller rink, and everyone’s invited. Hosted by the iconic Debbie Allen Dance Academy in partnership with Sunshine Skate Foundation, this free community event is all about movement, music, and togetherness.

Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned skate wizard, there’s something here for you. Start with a relaxing freestyle skate session or dive into one of four lively, themed classes—from intro basics to line dancing, ballroom, and even a fun-filled “Middle Game” skate. It's a full day of movement and connection, created especially for families impacted by the recent LA wildfires, but open to anyone who believes in the power of healing through the arts.Roller skates, joy, and community spirit are all you need—so lace up, show up, and roll on out!
