Conejo FamilyFEST Winter Holiday Edition

Conejo Valley families can trade the holiday rush for a relaxed, creative morning at FamilyFEST Winter Holiday Edition, a free community gathering hosted by Conejo 101 at St. Patrick's Parish Hall in Thousand Oaks. The festive pop-up blends seasonal crafts and family games with a chance to meet local businesses that serve families, from health and wellness providers to education resources.

The star attraction for little ones is the Candy Cane Trail. Kids can grab a tote bag, stocking or holiday bag and wander from booth to booth collecting small surprises from participating exhibitors. Between stops, craft tables invite children to get busy with glitter, paper and holiday cheer, and family games keep siblings of all ages entertained.

FamilyFEST also gives kids a meaningful way to spread joy. Through the Community Kindness Project, children and parents create handmade holiday cards that are delivered to local senior living communities and care centers. It is a lovely, hands-on lesson in giving that fits right into the season.

The event takes place mostly indoors in Parish Hall, with some exhibitors set up outside, so it works rain or shine. Bring a bag for the trail and plan on a few hours of easygoing holiday fun close to home.
