Bob Baker Marionettes

The Bob Baker Marionettes, the oldest children's theater company in Los Angeles, are bringing their handcrafted puppets to Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo for a cozy afternoon show in the Black Box Theatre. The troupe has been delighting families since 1963, and its home theater is a designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.

Skilled puppeteers bring dozens of colorful marionettes to life, and the intimate format lets kids move around and interact with the characters up close. It is a gentle, captivating show that works beautifully for little ones who are new to live theater.

Arrive a little early, because Soka is offering complimentary balloon twisting at 2:30 PM along with free snacks before the curtain rises. With child tickets priced under $10, it is an affordable South Orange County outing your family can enjoy together.
