Autism Families Night

The Aquarium of the Pacific opens its doors after hours for Autism Families Night, a special evening reserved exclusively for families that include children or adults with autism. With the general public gone, guests can take in the exhibits at their own pace in a quieter, more relaxed setting.

Families can explore the Aquarium's galleries and meet more than 12,000 animals from the Pacific Ocean, from shimmering jellies and colorful reef fish to sharks, sea lions and playful sea otters. The calmer atmosphere makes it easier for kids and adults who are sensitive to crowds or noise to enjoy the experience together.

Tickets go on sale Monday, October 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM Pacific time, and the Aquarium releases each session one at a time, so parents should be ready to book early. Admission is a modest per-person fee, and Aquarium members and children under 3 attend free.
