All Abilities Resource Fair

Finding the right therapies, school supports and adaptive activities can feel like a full-time job for parents of children with disabilities. The All Abilities Resource Fair, hosted by CSUN's Family Focus Resource Center, gathers many of those answers in one welcoming place at the University Student Union in Northridge.

Exhibitors at the fair represent local resources, adaptive programs and support services for people of every age and ability. Attendees can explore options in areas such as education, therapy, recreation, housing, employment and transition services, then talk face to face with providers instead of trading emails for weeks. It is a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to compare programs, pick up information and connect with other families.

Admission is free, and the event is presented in both English and Spanish. Organizers ask guests to register in advance so they can prepare, and registrants who need it can request a free parking permit. Your family can drop in anytime during the three-hour fair, which makes it easy to fit around a Saturday schedule.
