Al Jardine of The Beach Boys with the Pet Sounds Band

Al Jardine, a founding member of The Beach Boys, heads to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts with the Pet Sounds Band for an evening of timeless California pop. Fans can expect the rich harmonies and surf-rock favorites that helped define the Southern California sound, performed by one of the musicians who helped create it.

This is a grown-up concert at heart, but it also makes a wonderful multigenerational night out. Parents and grandparents who grew up with these songs can introduce school-age kids, tweens and teens to the music that soundtracked beach days for generations, and many of the tunes are instantly singable even for first-time listeners.

The Cerritos Center is a comfortable, easy-to-navigate venue with free parking right next door, which takes some of the stress out of an evening outing with the family. Shows here typically run about two hours, so plan accordingly for younger concertgoers.

Keep in mind that every guest, regardless of age, needs a ticket and a seat, and the venue does not recommend children under 5 for performances that are not specifically designed for young audiences.
