This interactive, hands-on voyage is perfect for families, curious kids, and anyone who’s ever dreamed of life aboard a tall ship. Taking place every second Saturday of the month, these unique sailings blend maritime history with real seafaring skills—yes, you’ll actually help hoist the sails, steer the ship, and even stand bow watch!
The Ocean Institute’s costumed crew, dressed in historical sailor garb, brings the Golden Age of Sail to life with fascinating stories and expert guidance. And just when you think you’ve done it all—boom!—a live cannon demonstration wraps up your nautical journey with a bang. Whether you're a seasoned sea dog or just testing the waters, this unforgettable maritime adventure is packed with fun, learning, and plenty of ocean breeze.
