Description
Brush up on your cultural arts with the AAPI: Chinese Calligraphy event at Lincoln Heights Branch Library! Led by Emmy Lam, this enriching program introduces kids to the beautiful art of Chinese calligraphy and its deep cultural roots. Attendees will explore the significance of calligraphy in Chinese heritage before trying their hand at writing meaningful words using traditional techniques. It’s a perfect blend of art, language, and cultural appreciation. Just a heads-up: children should already know how to hold a pen or pencil and be comfortable printing on their own. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so don’t be late!
