7th Annual Boonion Station

Los Angeles Union Station turns its South Patio into a free Halloween party for the seventh year in a row, and every little ghoul and goblin is invited. Kids can trick-or-treat along the Treats-on-Track route with LAPD and Metro TAP, get their faces painted, and boogie to DJ Keyon in the Mix while balloon artists twist up creepy creations.

New this year, Metro Art's Once Upon a Monster station lets kids build a one-of-a-kind creature from googly eyes, horns, and wild hair. They can then carry it over to the Monster Poetry Booth, where Los Angeles Poet Laureate Brian Sonia-Wallace and friends write a short spooky story starring their monster.

Costumes are encouraged. The costume contest has categories for kids 12 and under, tweens and teens (13-17), adults 18+, and family or duo entries, all judged by LAPD. Stilt walkers roam the patio all afternoon, so your family gets plenty of photo ops without leaving the party.
