5-Star Theatricals Presents RAPUNZEL AND HER HOLIDAY WISH

The Lythgoe family's holiday panto tradition rolls into Thousand Oaks this December with Rapunzel and Her Holiday Wish, presented by 5-Star Theatricals at the Scherr Forum Theatre. Panto is a British holiday theater style built for families, mixing a familiar fairy tale with slapstick comedy, silly costumes and plenty of jokes for both kids and grown-ups.

This fresh take follows Rapunzel on a twisty, tangled adventure packed with pop songs, larger-than-life characters and surprise holiday moments. The audience is part of the fun, too, so kids are encouraged to cheer for the hero, shout warnings and boo the bad guy at full volume.

With 16 performances between December 11 and December 27, including matinees on weekends and the day after Christmas, it is easy to find a showtime that fits your family's holiday schedule. It makes a great first theater experience for younger kids who might not sit still through a traditional play.
