49th Annual L.A. Chinatown Firecracker

The L.A. Chinatown Firecracker returns for its 49th year on February 20 and 21, 2027, turning Chinatown's streets into a festive Lunar New Year playground for runners, riders, walkers and even four-legged family members.

Little ones steal the show at the 1K Kiddie Run, open to kids 12 and under, while older kids and parents can take on the timed 5K or 10K run/walk. Saturday belongs to cyclists and pups, with a 20-mile Fun Bike Ride, a 50-mile Half Century Bike Ride and the 2K PAW'er Dog Walk.

Not racing? The family-friendly Firecracker Festival runs alongside the events with live stage entertainment, booths and vendors, so your crew can cheer on the runners and then soak up the celebration. Registered participants should bring their bib number and a photo ID to packet pickup.

The Kiddie Run starts at the balloon arch near Bank of America. Packet pickup is in the lower parking lot at 424 W. College St.

All ages are welcome. The Kiddie Run is open to children 12 and under.
