Description

Get ready to dive into summer with one of the wackiest, splashiest events on the coast—the 13th Annual Cardboard Yacht Regatta at the Annenberg Community Beach House! This high-spirited event invites creative captains of all ages to design, build, and hopefully sail their own handmade cardboard yachts across the Beach House pool.

Using just corrugated cardboard and duct tape, teams craft colorful, whimsical vessels and put them to the ultimate test: can they float, steer, and survive the journey from one end of the pool to the other? Whether you’re racing or just spectating, there’s plenty of excitement (and hilarious wipeouts) to go around. Creativity, teamwork, and a good sense of humor are essential—and costumes and boat decorations are encouraged!
