Rio de Los Angeles State Park

Rio de Los Angeles (LA River) State Park’s natural river wetlands allows a serene opportunity to families who enjoy hiking trails, being surrounded by native plants and viewing returning wildlife. The park also features sports fields, a children’s playground, a recreation building, and a splash pad. There are plenty of shaded grassy areas for a picnicking, so don't forget your picnic basket and a blanket.
 
The splash pad is open from mid June through Labor Day from 10 am to 7 pm daily. (Check the opening time during pandemic).
