Play 2 Progress

Play 2 Progress Mommy & Me classes combine sensory play with parent education to support parents and optimize babies' growth. One-hour sessions are led by pediatric occupational therapists who specialize in sensory integration and child development, and birth & post-partum doulas. Classes cover topics such as infant gross & fine motor development, sleep routines, feeding, sensory play activities, coordination, sensory strategies to help calm baby, and toy recommendations.
 
Each week, your child will explore a different aspect of his/her sensory system through fun sensorimotor activities that promote cognition, visual motor skills, communication, and fine and gross motor development. The goal of the class is to provide a nurturing space where babies experience their first social group, and to help parents feel well-equipped during baby’s often-complicated first years, while forming lasting friendships.
