Fariba Rabizadeh Psy.D. MFT

Dr. Rabizadeh is a Licensed Therapist working in private practice in West L.A. She has been working with patients since 2003, first as trainee and later as a licensed therapist. Her practice is focused around children, families. and relationship issues. She has also been facilitating many interpersonal psychotherapy groups. She has helped many individuals, couples and families to develop insights and self- fulfillment in their lives.
 
Dr. Rabizadeh uses cognitive therapy to target distorted thinking and beliefs for her patients. She incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing techniques (EMDR) to reduce anxiety and effect of past traumas. Additionally, she applies psycho-dynamic techniques to address life time patterns and childhood trauma which contributed to the current symptoms. She believes we all have potentials ready to be discovered. At times just a caring hand can help us through the journey. Her passion is helping individuals reach self fulfillment as well as success in interpersonal relationships. Her expertise is to repair and remove blocks and barriers which might have been the result of childhood trauma and past experiences.
