From sparkling lights to decadent meals and holiday tea, there is nothing quite like the joy of the holiday season at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Embrace the southern California sunshine and admire endless ocean views while delighting in festive holiday experiences with family and friends to inspire memories that will last a lifetime.

OPEN HOUSE & TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY 

Sunday, November 21 | 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Guests and the local community come together for our beloved Open House and Tree Lighting. Festivities include holiday music, a special appearance from Santa Claus, music, hot cocoa, and a final countdown to light the spectacular 40-foot tree on the front-drive. Donations of new toys, non-perishable food items, children’s books, and dog treats and toys will be collected for Miracles for Kids, Orange County Rescue Mission, and local dog shelters.

 HOLIDAY STORYTELLING 

December 10, 11, 17, 18 | 5 p.m.

Children and families are invited to enjoy a selection of holiday storytelling with Santa. Donations of new children’s books will be collected for Miracles for Kids. Located at the Eco-Adventure Center and is complimentary to attend.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE AND HOLIDAY COOKIE DECORATING 

December 5 & 12 | 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Gather with the family to decorate your very own large-scale gingerbread house and holiday cookies with tips and tricks provided by the resort’s expert pastry team. Reserve your space by calling resort services at 949.240.2000. $250 per gingerbread house.

HOLIDAY TEA 

Monday through Thursday, November 29 to December 16,  2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Celebrate the timeless tradition of Afternoon Tea with elegant ocean views at RAYA. Prepare your palate to enjoy holiday inspired teas, savory canapés, sweet bites, and a glass of champagne. Call to reserve at 949.240.2000. $95 per person.  Advanced reservations required.

 CHRISTMAS DAY BUFFET 

December 25 | 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Leave the cooking to the talented culinary team and enjoy an  indulgent Thanksgiving and Christmas Day buffet with all the fixings. Reserve in advance by calling 949.240.2000. $225 per person, includes tax & gratuity. Advanced reservations required.
