Summer is almost here, and many public and private venues offer free concert series for your enjoyment. We have gathered a list of summer concerts happening in Los Angeles in 2019. Keep on reading and keep on dancing with music this summer!

Concerts on Canon

You are invited to enjoy free live musical performances at the Beverly Canon Gardens every Thursday from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm, and also 7:15pm to 8:00 pm. This wonderful free event showcases a series of local, professional, talented musicians in a variety of genres. It's a wonderful way to spend a warm summer evening after dining at a nearby restaurant or bring your own food and enjoy the ambiance. Sing-a-longs featured at every concert excluding July 25th.

This special event features musicians and cowboy poets performing stories and songs of the romantic Old West, contemporary music of the American West, and songs of the open range and the American cowboy. The event is included with your admission and is free for Autry members.
Western Music Association Showcase Sizzling Summer Nights 4700 Western Heritage Way

Dance the night away with L.A.’s best salsa and Latin fusion bands at the Autry’s popular summer series. The outdoor parties include free lessons with an instructor, access to museum galleries, a separate children’s dance floor, and more. Tacos, margaritas, and other light refreshments are available for purchase from Crossroads West. ($15 for non members $6 for children, and free for members)

Enjoy over 100 concerts a year! Concerts feature leading international and local ensembles in programs of classical, jazz, Latin, and new music. The outdoor music festival that’s almost as iconic as the Pier itself is back for the 35th year. The 2019 series will spotlight the best and brightest SoCal has to offer and unique artists from around the world - a truly Local Meets Global experience. Each night of the series will be a Pier-wide festival, complete with immersive art, food offerings, a beer and spirits garden, games and interactive activities all along the Pier promenade.

The LA County Library also provides tailored book lists to accompany each show.
