Every year Disneyland comes up with new rides, attractions, and new entertainment to amaze us even more than the year before, and if you keep reading, we will give you the latest scope on events, attractions and entertainment that are new in both parks.
Debuting in spring 2020, the all-new, extraordinary “Magic Happens” parade will travel down Main Street in Disneyland park. This daytime spectacular will feature stunning floats, beautiful costumes, and beloved Disney characters led by Mickey Mouse and his pals.
Celebrating the magic that happens when Miguel strums the guitar of Ernesto de la Cruz, the spectacular float inspired by the Disney and Pixar film “Coco” bridges the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead with vibrant marigolds.
The regal grand finale of “Magic Happens” parade celebrates magical moments from classic Disney stories, including the trio of fairies from “Sleeping Beauty” who transform Princess Aurora’s gown from pink to blue and back again!
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride is launching on January 17, 2020 at Disneyland, and it will be a massive attraction with multiple ride systems that is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before!
This ride is more like a cinematic experience making you part of the action. It is as authentic a Star Wars experience as you'll ever get to have! You will be basically dropped into the middle of the war between the First Order and the Resistance, with Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren, and many others guiding you.
Avengers Campus is coming to Disney California Adventure Park in the Summer of 2020. Avengers Campus will house a new Spider-Man experience. At this ride, you get to test drive the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man! The attraction gives you a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as you help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.
Avengers Campus will also feature Pym Test Kitchen. Just as Ant-Man and The Wasp use “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink just about anything, Pym Technologies is using the latest innovations to grow and shrink food at this eatery.
You will also find heroic encounters throughout the campus, including Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man.
As Super Heroes continue to assemble at the campus, one of its iconic buildings will be the Avengers Headquarters where you may catch a glimpse of the Avengers along its rooftops.
In Spring 2020, beauty-and-wellness aficionados will head to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for the grand opening of Tenaya Stone Spa, a new full-service spa specializing in good-for-the soul experiences. You can choose from an array of signature body treatments, facials, massages and salon services—all performed within a serene setting sure to relax, recharge and invigorate all your senses.
