The Orange County Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration of Japanese and Japanese American culture in Southern California. Each year the festival brings together a broad spectrum of performers and activities that span the traditional to the contemporary. Taiko drumming, minyo, classical dance, gagaku music, origami, ikebana are presented alongside cosplay contests, anime characters, electronic music, jazz, video game tournaments and beyond.
Festival hours are Friday March 15th from 5 pm to 9 pm, Saturday March 16th from 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday March 17th from 10 am to 4 pm. This event is free and open to the public.

Get blown away this weekend at The Natural History Museum by the plants, animals, and the people devoted to protecting and studying them. Over 35 exhibitor booths with local organizations will be there to amaze you. Meet live animals such as falcons, owls, oppossums, and reptiles. Build your own bird houses. Talk face to face with real scientists and nature experts who are excited to answer your questions. Also enjoy hands on nature crafts and activities for kids.
The event is free with paid admission, or for museum members (plus 9 a.m. early admission). Museum admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, youth and students, and $7 for children 12 and under.
